zk-SNARK is an acronym that stands for “Zero-Knowledge Succinct Non-Interactive Argument of Knowledge”. zk-SNARKs are a type of cryptographic proof which allows a person to prove they have a certain piece of information to another party without revealing what that message is. zk-SNARKs have many useful applications in the world of cryptocurrency and NFTs. One such use case would be for a user to demonstrate to another party they have enough crypto assets to complete a particular transaction without revealing any personal data.
