Sh*tcoin

A Bitcoin maximalist is a person that believes that Bitcoin is the #1 cryptocurrency in the world and that any other coins will eventually go to zero. These maximalists believe that there can only be (1) global cryptocurrency, and they have chosen Bitcoin for this role. Bitcoin maximalists believe that all other coins are garbage, and they sometimes refer to non-bitcoin altcoins as “shtcoins”. Shtcoin is just a slang term for low-quality altcoin.
