Mining

Mining, within the context of Proof of Work (PoW) crypto blockchains, is the process of transaction and block verification using miners to solve cryptographic math equations. On both Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin (BTC), miners are responsible for mining new coins and verifying on-chain transactions. Mining secures the blockchain network and is the basis of PoW consensus.
