Hashrate

A measure of the total power and speed of cryptocurrency mining hardware. On most blockchain networks, mining difficulty increases over time as more miners compete for fewer rewards. This results in the creation of new purpose-built mining hardware such as ASICs, which offer the highest amount of mining hash of any mining device.
