ERC

ERC is an acronym for Ethereum Request for Comments which are technical documents authored by Ethereum community members and developers. ERCs contain the technical rules and application standards required for new Ethereum blockchain development. Prior to becoming an ERC, a document known as an Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) must first be submitted and approved by the committee.
