An Externally Owned Account (EOA) on the Ethereum blockchain consists of a public address and a private key. Ethereum EOA accounts can be used to receive Ether, Send Ether, and send transactions to Ethereum smart contracts. Ethereum Externally Owned Accounts do not host any smart contract code.
