A crowdsale is a method of capital raising used by cryptocurrency, token, or NFT projects whereby the founding team will sell crypto assets to early adopters and community members. Crowdsales are a hybrid between a corporation issuing traditional shares and a crowdfunding campaign. Crowdsales are very popular for NFT art projects and even crypto tech startups.
