A Bitcoin Maximalist is a person that believes that Bitcoin is the only actual cryptocurrency. At the extreme, Bitcoin Maximalists believe that any non-bitcoin cryptocurrency will eventually go to zero and that in the future, Bitcoin will ultimately become the world’s only cryptocurrency. Many Bitcoin maximalists believe that every Altcoin is, in fact, a “Sh*tcoin”.
