Attestation

As Ethereum transitions from Proof of Work (PoW) to Proof of Stake (PoS) various changes will take place. On the Ethereum network’s Beacon Chain the Proof of Stake mechanism relies upon validator nodes which can provide attestation (which is essentially a vote) that the blocks transactions are accurate. These validator nodes and their attestation votes allow for consensus to be reached.
