Account

An Ethereum account consists of a public and private key pair that “hold” your ETH. Technically your funds are stored entirely on the blockchain and not in your wallet or account. An Ethereum account is similar to a user account on a consumer website such as Facebook in the sense that it has a public username and a private password. With Ethereum, however, you are the custodian of your Ethereum keys.
